• Existing broadband customers may apply to AO(TR) of the concerned Area for change
of landline/broadband plan .
Conditions for providing Home plan or Business plan:-
1. | Either Plan can be offered to subscribers having telephones in individual names working at homes/residences used for personal purpose. |
| 2. | Subscribers having telephones in the name of Company, firms, shops, educational institutes or any other commercial entity can be given only Business Plan. They are not eligible for Home Plan. |
| 3. | Telephones working in individual names at commercial/ business/ office premises are also not entitled for Home Plans. |
| 4. | Home plan can be given on bfones in the name of Government/company but actually working at residences of their employees. An undertaking may be taken from the customer before providing the said connection. |
In order to discourage fake booking for broadband connection a registration fee of Rs. 100 may be charged.
Excess Security Deposit & Requirement of mandate
1.All the excess security deposits may be adjusted in next bill on request of the customer.
2.A mandate is required from all Broadband customers, for adjustment of BSNL dues from security deposit of fixed lines etc.
Revision of plan will be effective from 01-04-2010.

Approval of the BSNL is hereby conveyed for following promotional Broadband scheme for all new broadband applicants registering their Broadband connection till 31" March 2010.
1. All the customers registering their new Broadband connection till 31" March 2010 under any BSNL Broadband Plan of up to 2Mbps speed (limited/unlimited) shall be provided unlimited free download at 2Mbps for first fifteen (15) days, irrespective of the speed of the plan applied for.
2. The customers applying for Limited Plans shall not be charged for their download for first fifteen (15) days of activation of their broadband connection and those applying for Unlimited plans with download speed less than 2 Mbps shall get the benefit of lncreased download speed Upto 2Mbps.
3. The scheme of free download shall terminate automatically after the first 15 days after which the connection shall be reverted to the registered plan. and change In Plan. If any desired by the customer shall be noted and Implernented as per existing provisions.
4. No Installation charges shall be payable by the customer for the BB connection registered upto 31.03.2010.
5. Security Deposit for the opted Broadband Plan and the Modem Security Deposit (In case Modem Is taken on hire basis from BSNL)shall be taken In three monthly Installments starting from the first bill for the BB connection registered upto 31.03.2010.
6. Usual Monthly Plan charges for the opted Broadband plan and Fixed Monthly charges for the Modern (In case odem is taken on hire basis from BSNL)shall be payable during the promotional period i.e. 15 days free download period.
7. Minimum period of hire for customers availing this scheme shall be a period of one month Including the free download period.
B. The Promotional scheme is effect from 20.03.2010.

BSNL announced a reduction in post-paid broadband tariffs by up to 75 per cent . BSNL offers tariff in two categories – home users and general users . Under both categories, tariffs are available in limited and unlimited downloads. With the implementation of new tariffs the entry threshold would come down from Rs 2,150 to Rs 850 only translating into a reduction of over 60 per cent. BSNL has reduced download charges from 50-60 paise/MB to 20/MB for up to 5GB and 10 paise/MB thereafter, and will be applicable for customers having plans of Rs 250-700. Additional download charges in limited broadband tariff plans has also been reduced to 10 paise/MB for all customers paying more than Rs 999 fixed monthly charges. BSNL has also upgraded download speed in various post-paid plans by 50 per cent, besides increasing free download limit under its various tariff plans up from 10 GB to 250 GB . The company has announced new broadband tariff plan for business and corporate customers as well. This new plan launched in the name of ‘BBG COMBO ULD 850 ‘ will provide unlimited download to business customers at a download speed of 1 mega byte per second (mbps) up to 8 GB and 256 kilo byte per second (kbps) thereafter.The company announced an increase in free calls limit for its combo plan . Free calls have been doubled from 250 to 500, 300 to 500 and 500 to 1000 under different categories. The company has introduced free calls facility in four combo packages. The number of free calls range between 500 to 2000.
